Ambassador-ocracy is becoming familiar in Albania

There is no doubt that Albania is ruled by an Ambassador-ocratic regime. Just by observing how much attention the media pay to the statements and opinions of Arvizu, Sequi and Wollfarth, one can sense the presence and grasp the dimensions of such a regime. Just to illustrate this fact we will mention that the American ambassador in the last few days was invited in two TV studios for lengthy live interviews in primetime and newspapers and TV news programs commented his interviews word for word.
There are even more recent examples, just today, which prove that the Ambassador-ocratic ways of living and thinking have become an integral part of the Albanian mainstream. Although this is not a recent phenomenon, no one could imagine that it would be such a deep-rooted concept in the Albanian society:
- Mayor of Fier, being powerless to counter a sabotaging scheme orchestrated and led by county prefect Bujar Hasa and DP representative Enkelejd Alibeaj, sends a complaining letter to Arvizu, Sequi and Wollfarth (Arvizu stays always on top of this list) as well as prime minister Berisha.
- Euro-socialist Youth Organization (FRESH) wrote a letter recently to the foreign missions in Albania, in which they complained that the Socialist Party is neglecting this organization. “Help us hold the FRESH congress to become independent of the party “ – members write to ambassadors.
- A business community gathered around Business Albania group met with OSCE representative Eugen Wollfarth to complain about problems caused to them by the government and politics
It’s obvious now that the Ambassador-ocracy has already flooded the country and the Albanian society.
