Water bus sinks in the lake. No victims reported

A water bus carrying 15 passengers on board sank today at noon in the waters of Fierza Lake in northern Albania on a routine trip. Fortunately no one was drowned or hurt in the accident. All 15 passengers on board survived the shipwreck. 9 of them managed to swim to the shore and rang the alarm about the event to local residents. The rest of the passengers were helped to the shore by other passengers with small boats and lifebuoys. Fierza Lake is no natural lake. It is located on the Drin River and was formed as a water-storage reservoir for the hydroelectric power plant with the same name. There are no reports on the causes of the shipwreck.
