A tyrannical government must be overthrown- says Texas and US Declaration of Independence

The overthrow of tyrannies by masses of people is a common occurrence in the world history, but no other documents has expressed it better why a government that violates the rights and properties of its citizens must be abolished by the people than the Texas Declaration of Independence: 

“When a government has ceased to protect the lives liberty and property of its people, from whom its legitimate powers are derived, and for the advancement of whose happiness it was instituted, and so far from being a guarantee for the enjoyment of those inestimable and inalienable rights, becomes an instrument in the hands of evil rulers for their oppression.

When, in consequence of such acts of malfeasance and abdication, on the part of the government, anarchy prevails, and Civil Society is dissolved into its original elements. In such a crisis, the first law of nature, the right of self-preservation—the inherent and unalienable right of the people to appeal to first principles and take their political affairs into their own hands in extreme cases enjoins it as a right towards themselves and a sacred obligation to their posterity to abolish such government and create another in its stead, calculated to rescue them from impending dangers, and to secure their future welfare and happiness”.

Isn’t the Albanian government such a tyranny that must be overthrown by the people when it:

• Steal the citizens’ votes and property
• Murder opponents and citizens who demand their rights to live a better life
• Violates the constitution and civil rights on regular basis
• Sell national interests to hostile foreign governments
• Appropriate national assets and wealth for its own benefit
• Is involved with organized crime
• Sell territories to neighboring chauvinist governments
• Attempts to denationalize the nation ….and so on.

As one learns of the bravery and heroism of those 187 Texans in the battle of Alamo, who were all sacrificed for liberty and freedom, an event that is so embedded in the US history and the minds and souls of the Americans, he/she can’t help being inspired to fight him(her)self for the liberty and freedom of his/her people. The Albanians have the right to decide for themselves and fight against a tyranny so oppressive that the world hasn’t seen for a century. Some might say with votes, but a tyranny will always use its crushing power to steal the citizens’ votes like it did on May 8.

Also the American Declaration of Independence clearly states that:

All men are created equal and there are certain unalienable rights that governments should never violate. These rights include the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When a government fails to protect those rights, it is not only the right, but also the duty of the people to overthrow that government. In its place, the people should establish a government that is designed to protect those rights. Governments are rarely overthrown, and should not be overthrown for trivial reasons.

Both these documents outline when a government should be overthrown as an obligation to build happiness for the people and a future for the country. Aren’t the Albanians at this point in history to undertake such an endeavor?
