Albania FOR SALE by Government

Along with many inhuman and antinational functions, the 2009 Albanian government’s major business activity also include the real estate and the sale of 28 km² territory of Albania and its coastal areas is among the realtor’s top priorities. When we speak about the sale of Albania we mean it literally. It’s not about selling national interests or granting foreigners favors just to stay in power, because these affairs have dominated Albania’s history since the moment it started to be documented. No, it’s about selling real land and sea territories and plots from the country of our predecessors and successors. It’s not the first time in history that territories of the country are sold by unelected, unpopular and traitor-to-the-bone governments. Two most remarkable examples are the sale of Manastir and Shen (Saint) Naum to Yugoslavia by Ahmet Zog, a prime minister turned king, through a humiliating and criminal treaty that kept him in power. The sale of territories is not an unknown process in the world history. Most famous are the purchase by the United States of Alaska from Russia in 1867 and Louisiana from Napoleon’s France in 1803, whose area covered almost ¼ of the territory of the current United States. But there is an essential difference: they were colonies, which then France and Russia probably couldn’t control any longer. To sell land of your country is the biggest crime that can be committed, because like death it happens only once and lasts for eternity. A real Albanian would never do this to his/her own country.
The cables published on WikiLeaks uncovered many dark sides of these selling process that started with the territorial waters in what was named the infamous “water agreement” for which the majority of Albanians showed an embarrassing indifference. Only an honorable man, a real patriot to denounce it publicly, an honest opposition to bring it to the Constitutional Court and a court, uncontrolled by the historic traitors, were needed to invalidate this agreement. But the way the Albanian government conducted the talks, hidden from the public, at the insistence of Greece so that no one would know, was what we might call a real interstate prostitution. It resembles a cheating woman, who leaves the family sleeping at home and in the middle of the night sneaks out of the house to go to a dark corner to meet her lover of the moment and satisfy his biological lust and personal whims.
What happened raises doubts about what might happen in the future. Was the financial crisis in Greece triggered by the allocation of funds on the part of the Greek government to be used for other purposes, like buying territories in Southern Albania? It sounds like an unlikely conspiracy, but the recent events make people think everything is possible. When Greece brought pressure to bear upon the Albanian government over the approval of SAA, the honest way would be to address this issue to the highest authorities of the EU and tell them point-blankly that Greece is using EU membership to realize its chauvinist intentions and is also using European superpowers to derive illicit benefits. And hopefully EU countries would have done something about it. But the Albanian government, submissive as it is, did not follow this path for reasons that are vastly known.
The best example of a strong resistance to Greek intentions is the Republic of Macedonia, which is fighting for a name and national symbol that does not belong to it after all. The Slavic people came to Balkan many centuries after the rise and fall of the immense empire of Phillip and Alexander the Great. In this case Greeks are not getting back a symbol and name that history, whether we like it or not, justly or unjustly, acknowledges as a part of the ancient Hellenic civilization.
When it comes to Albania, Greece gets what it wants, how and when it wants. Even when the submissive Albanian government has no capacity to give what it asks for, the Greek Foreign Minister threatens the Albanian people that they would remain outside of EU and a flabby senior minister suddenly shows up in Tirana and pushes the 200-pound wrestler-looking Albanian foreign minister to conduct the census as Greece pleases.
These Greek guys, who I am sure, have some Albanian blood in their veins, because for centuries we have furnished Greece with young and fresh population, must bear in mind that even though the Albanian government is very yielding to their caprices, the Albanians are not. the Greeks can do whatever they like to the government but they have to be very careful when they threaten the people of Albania.
To secretly give away to Greece, like an illegal organization, territorial waters and probably promise more later is the highest national treason and no real Albanian would ever do that. I mean this literally and the historians, if there are real Albanians among them, should begin without delay to study the origins of the individuals who planned and carried out this new partition of our Albania.
The real Albanians feel like someone has hurled them on the ground and has put the foot on their throats and is asphyxiating them in unbearable pains. In this hopeless agony the voice of the internationals comes loud in the ears of the Albanians to hang in there because it will be over soon and death will devour them for eternity. Whether the Albanians will accept to cease to exist or rise to throw away this yoke, that is suffocating them, is a choice that they themselves have to make as soon as possible.
